Our compact students were given a huge task; learn how to use Windows Movie Maker, create a movie script based on a section of reading, and then film and edit your work. Oh yeah, did I mention it needed to be done in one week?!! Check out their work below:
Today in class we experimented with surface tension. We counted how many drops of water would fit on a penny. That dome shape the water takes on as you add more water is due to water molecules sticking together and not wanting to let go. It was a fun lab with lots of smiles and good learning. At the end of the lab you were given a ‘mystery substance.’ Let me know what you think the substance is below! Feel free to comment on other student’s comments. Have a great day.
Hello class! For 10 points on your next quiz please visit the CNN.com/TECH website and search for an article that interests you. Print it out and write a 2 paragraph response and hand it in to Mr. Wolfe. Thank you for your visiting this website and your interest in Science.
To get the year started on the right track, please feel free to write a comment on something interesting you did over the summer. Keep in mind that I must approve all comments before they’re posted, so do not be alarmed if it does not appear right away. Also, type in your first name and email before you comment, do not include your last name. If you do not have an email you can make one up. You can respond to other classmates comments whenever you’d like. Have a great day and happy blogging!
